EZ Flipbook Creator ("the Service", "we", "us") is operated by AI Canadian Solutions / The Logic Box, based in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use ezflipbookcreator.com or ezflipbookcreator.thelogicbox.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Please also read our Terms of Use.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored only in hashed form). You may optionally set preferences such as a time zone.
Content you upload
The core of the Service is turning your images and PDF documents into digital flipbooks. We store the files you upload, the pages generated from them, and the details you enter about each flipbook (titles, author names, descriptions, categories, cover choices).
Payment information
If you make a purchase, payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your full card number never touches our servers. We keep records of transactions (what was purchased, amount, date, and a payment reference) for accounting and support.
Technical and usage information
Like most websites, we automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and referring pages. We may derive an approximate (city-level) location from your IP address to understand where our visitors come from and to protect the Service from abuse.
Messages you send us
If you contact us or submit a form on the site, we keep the message and your contact details so we can respond.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service: build, store, and display your flipbooks and manage your account.
- To process payments and send purchase confirmations.
- To generate AI cover artwork when you request it (see Section 3).
- To respond to support requests and messages.
- To keep the Service secure — detecting abuse, rate-limiting, and blocking malicious traffic.
- To understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded content for advertising.
3. AI Features (Cover Generation)
EZ Flipbook Creator offers an optional AI cover generation feature. Parts of this feature may still be in active development. When you use it, the details you provide — such as your flipbook's title, author name, description, your text prompt, and any reference images you choose to include — are sent to OpenAI, which acts as a sub-processor to generate the artwork. OpenAI processes this data under its own API data-usage terms. Please do not include sensitive personal information in AI prompts or reference images.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to work — keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and protecting forms against misuse. We also use first-party analytics cookies to count visits and understand navigation on the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the Service that require sign-in will not work without essential cookies.
5. Who We Share Information With
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only what they need:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- OpenAI — AI cover generation, only when you use that feature.
- DigitalOcean — cloud infrastructure where the Service and your content are hosted.
- Email delivery providers — to send account and transactional emails.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the Service. Some providers listed above process data in the United States; where personal information leaves Canada it remains subject to this policy and to contractual safeguards with those providers.
6. How Long We Keep Information
- Account data and flipbooks — kept while your account is active. When you delete a flipbook, its pages and files are removed from the live Service.
- Transaction records — kept up to seven years to meet Canadian tax and accounting requirements.
- Technical logs and analytics — kept for shorter periods appropriate to security and troubleshooting.
7. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and server hardening. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data with measures appropriate to its sensitivity.
8. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Withdraw consent to further collection or use, subject to legal and contractual limits;
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.

9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will always reflect the latest version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
